We are currently looking for a full-time veterinarian to join our thriving 3 veterinary practice primarily working with our Dairy Clients. If there is an interest in equine work, there is a lot of potential to expand into that area. It is a great opportunity to grow with a progressive well-established large animal practice. Ninety percent of the dairy farms we service daily are located within 20 miles of the clinic. The size of the farms we service range from 1 – 3,000 dairy cows.

We provide a wide range of services to our clients such as: Routine disease diagnostic & treatment. General surgery, ultrasound repro exams (each of the 4 vets has their own ultrasound) and establishing and maintaining vaccine and reproduction programs. Consulting services such as: Dairy improvements and expansion, herd management protocols (goal sheets, on-farm milk culturing, down cow protocols are some examples), nutrition consulting and formation, in-house serology and milk culturing lab, and milk quality. In addition to the dairy industry, the clinic serves several other species including horses, goats, sheep, pigs, and beef cattle. The clinic provides scheduled routine service as well as 24-hour emergency service. On-call schedule is equally split amongst all doctors.

When externs visit our clinic, they stay at one doctor’s house and then ride along with them to do their herd checks. Externs have the option of going on emergency night calls with the doctor. When visiting, externs and a doctor go out to eat for lunch and sometimes they go out for breakfast during the week.

Benefits we offer: Health, Liability, and Disability Insurance. Dues – AVMA, AABP, WVMA, NEWVMA, & NMC. Continuing education, vacation, sick days, 401k program. Future opportunities for ownership.
